Unlike hot tub's, in ground spa's generally have more efficient filtration and because they don't rely on a 13amp supply the heater is able to heat the water in a fraction of the time and can remain operational whilst the booster pump and air blower are in use. Of course you also have the luxury of having your spa in a purpose built room therefore not having to brave the elements before bathing!
